Default image/video resizing model is “Shrink or Zoom to Fit”, which will enlarge or reduce image/video to fit window as necessary.

Scaling will take place if your image/video does not match monitor display resolution. If original image/video has low resolution, this will result in displayed image/video being pixelated and blurry.

There are two solutions:

  1. Recommended: Use images/videos having the same or higher resolution as majority of monitors where screen saver will be deployed. If you are not sure, use 1920×1080 px.
  2. Show image/video in original size which will disable scaling, but then image/video will not be shown full screen. To achieve this set Image/Movie size to “Original size” and uncheck “Random position”.

Regarding videos, we recommend using Windows Media Video (WMV) file format in Ultra Screen Saver Maker.
