Version 25.0.2 of Ultra Screen Saver Maker and Live Screensaver Creator is here. The screen saver installer now follows the light or dark mode of Windows, and web pages in your screen savers can always show their latest version.
An installer that matches Windows
When you save a screen saver as an installation package (EXE or ZIP), it comes with our screen saver installer. The installer now has a modern look and follows the light or dark mode set in Windows, so it looks at home on every computer. Five new languages join the list: Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Lithuanian and Thai. The installer detects the Windows language of the user and shows itself in one of 33 supported languages.
No more stale web pages
A screen saver that shows a website sometimes keeps displaying an old version of the page, because the browser or a server in between returns a cached copy. To always get the latest content, add %%CACHEBUSTER%% to the page address, for example:
https://example.com/news?cb=%%CACHEBUSTER%%
Each time the screen saver loads the page, the placeholder is replaced with a unique value, so the page is always fetched fresh. Addresses without the placeholder load as before. Read more in How do I stop my screensaver page from showing cached (stale) content?
